What was the highlight of Adua & Regina di Saba Hotel
„Super Hotel um bei Tagesausflügen die Toskana zu erkunden
Die meisten Gäste im Hotel sind italienische Kurzurlauber und größere Reisegruppen. Ich dagegen hatte fast zwei Wochen gebucht und habe mir von dort aus per Bahn Florenz, Pisa und Lucca angeschaut. Zum Bahnhof Montecatini Centro sind es zu Fuß etwa 10 Minuten. Das ist wirklich praktisch. Supermarkt und Drogerie sind ebenfalls fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich. Besonders die Rezeptionistinnen waren mir eine Hilfe beim Planen der Tagesausflüge. Auch beim Abendessen war ich auf sie angewiesen. Für Vegetarier wie mich gab es nämlich meist nur Suppe laut Menu. Über die Rezeptionistinnen konnte ich mir dann Alternativen wünschen, die sie an die Küche weitergegeben haben. Das Essen schmeckt übrigens sehr gut. Und beim Frühstück gibt es sogar mehr Auswahl als in Italien sonst üblich. Die Getränkepreise sind zivil (20,- Euro für eine Flasche Rosé). Super waren noch die Betten und der Wasserdruck in der Dusche. Die Klimaanlage erfüllt ihren Zweck. Manchen ist sie vielleicht zu laut, aber ich hatte sowieso Ohrstöpsel dabei. Die Wellnesseinrichtungen habe ich nicht genutzt.
Da kann ich mich nur den anderen Kritikern hier anschließen: es fehlen Sonnenschirme am Pool. Fast alle Liegen stehen mindestens den halben Tag in der prallen Sonne. Ich war im Juli dort und es hatte 35 Grad und mehr. Da ist das auch aus gesundheitlichen Gründen einfach kein Spaß. Sie könnten ja zumindest mal zwei Schirme hinstellen und es den Gästen überlassen, ob sie diese öffnen und nutzen. Noch ein Tipp: Es sind dort viele Tigermücken unterwegs. Also unbedingt Abwehrspray und Kühlstift, etc. mitnehmen.

Una grata sorpresa
El desayuno era increible, muy variado y con libertad para tener un desayuno completo y equibilibrado, el personal muy amable así como la atención. Cabe destacar que reservamos una habitación doble pero el personal de recepción nos alojaron en una suite y la verdad que el espacio del que disponiamos era el triple. Todo muy bien, recomendadisimo. En cuando a Montecatini es un buen sitio donde pasar unos dias en familia.
Quizás por decir algo el sistema de climatización de la habitación, ya que pese a apargarlo se volvia a poner en funcionamiento automaticamente, y al preguntar en recepción nos explicaron que si el aire estaba programado por ellos a 23 grados y la habitación estaba a 26 el aire seguiria en funcionamiento hasta llegar a 23. Cosa que para dormir no es muy comodo. Asi que las 2 noches pedimos que lo apagaran desde la consola central para no levantarnos con un resfriado.
